COVID-19 is a disease caused by a virus called SARS-CoV-2. Most people with COVID-19 have mild symptoms, but some people can become severely ill. Although most people with COVID-19 get better within weeks of illness, some people experience post-COVID conditions. Post-COVID conditions are a wide range of new, returning, or ongoing health problems people can experience more than four weeks after first being infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. Older people and those who have certain underlying medical conditions are more likely to get severely ill from COVID-19.
If you are sick with COVID-19 or think you might have COVID-19, follow the steps below to care for yourself and to help protect other people in your home and community.

When we arrive for your appointment, you will need to provide a government-issued ID and insurance information (if applicable). You will also be required to complete our informed consent form.
Results will be sent via secure email. Our current turnaround time for specimens collected for rapid antigen and rapid PCR testing is 6-8 hours after specimen collection. Results for PCR testing that requires external processing is provided within 48 hours after specimen collection. Results for rapid molecular testing are available in 15 minutes.
Insurance is typically NOT accepted for voluntary testing purposes. Major debit/credit, HSA and FSA cards are accepted. If your test requires an external processing lab, we will accept insurance information on your behalf to provide to the local lab for the processing fees.
If you are symptomatic or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, you may qualify for no cost testing through your insurance.
If you test positive for COVID-19 you should isolate yourself from others and contact a licensed medical provider for further instructions.
If you test negative for COVID-19, it is likely that you were not infected at the time that the specimen was collected. However, this does not mean that you will not get sick. It is possible that you were in the early (pre-seroconversion) phase of infection and that you could test positive or be exposed at a later time.
If you are experiencing trouble breathing, appear pale, gray, or have blue-colored face lips or nail beds, continuous pain or pressure in your chest, feeling confused, having difficulty waking or staying awake, or any other emergent signs or symptoms, please call 9-1-1 and seek immediate medical care.
